Many Little Deaths: Living the Way of the Cross
Dr. Shawn Hofer, Ph.D., LP, will be guiding our first meeting together in September. In this session, he will be sharing how the experience of therapy can be an intimate experience of growth and sanctification that goes beyond addressing specific problems. Dr. Hofer will be inviting us to join him as he shares how the Way of the Cross is being lived out in his work with one particular patient in a psychotherapy context. In a rare look deep inside the therapy process usually shrouded in confidentiality, you will bear witness to Christ’s sacred rhythm of incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection as lived out both in the longer story of their work together and in the intimacy of one particular session. We hope this will open a window to how you may join deeply in recognizing and facilitating these Sacred rhythms in your own life and in the lives of those who you serve and lead.
Please indicate your plan to attend this session by replying to this email or contacting us through the Friday Forums page at ardenwoodspsych.com. We look forward to seeing you at this session as we continue our journey of learning and growing together.
