RESILIENCE: LIVING A COMEBACK LIFE
When Forgiveness is Tough
Genesis 45:1-15
Rev. Jonna Fantz
Resilience is foundational to thriving in a challenging and unpredictable world. Learning to grow through life’s difficulties rather than being crushed by them is crucial. The story of Joseph in the book of Genesis, which could have been titled, “The First Comeback Kid,” has a lot to teach us in this regard. As we look at how Joseph handles wave after wave of betrayal and loss, we can learn how resilience shapes his life and how faith can serve as the key to our own comebacks.
