30th Annual!
Salem’s Youth and Young Adult Director Shelli Streeper says this year’s event was a huge success and is overjoyed that a fundraiser that started 30 years ago to benefit youth ministry at Salem continues today!
All the vendor fees, sales from the bake sale, and proceeds from the cafe help Salem’s youth participate in mission trips and national youth conferences.
New this year was a raffle drawing for a chance to win one of three gift baskets. $685 was raised for the Salem youth ministry with this new endeavor!
Salem’s Arts and Crafts Fair Organizer Mary Jacobson reflected on the day saying, “What started with a handful of artists and crafters in the gym has grown to be an annual event that Salem’s church community and the community at large love!”
She says one of the things that makes Salem’s event so unique is the positive feeling that permeates the day.
“There are so many hugs, smiles, and warm greetings throughout the day that you might think you were at a family reunion,” says Mary.
Plans are underway for the 31st Salem Arts & Crafts Fair! Mark your calendar now for Saturday, November 7, 2026!
