Our children’s ministry is overflowing with kids and we need your help!
We are looking for adults 18 years and older to join the team. We need volunteers in all areas of children’s ministry, including Sunday School, Awana, and Flourish. Specifically, we’re looking for volunteers to serve as Sunday School teachers and classroom support. For Awana on Wednesdays, we’re looking for small group leaders and subs. 2026 Awana Registration opens July 15!
Early Bird Registration (July 15–August 15) is $30/child. Standard Registration (Beginning August 16) is $45/child. Registration link HERE.
It’s time to register for 2026–27 AWANA! Children age 3 (as of September 1) through Grade 5 will gather on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–7:45 pm to play, learn about the Word of God, and develop their relationships with other kids, members of our church family, and most importantly, Christ. We look forward to another amazing year together!
Salem Summer Book Club—Beauty, Art, and Creativity|| Every other Tuesday, June 9-August 18, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
We will read three books that can help us see how creativity leads us deeper into the mysteries of God while also applying a healing balm to the world: June 9 & 23: The Return of the Prodigal Son: A Story of Homecoming by Henri J. M. Nouwen, July 7 & 21: How Beauty Will Save the World: Recovering the Power of the Arts for the Christian Life by Winfield Bevins, August 4 & 18: Walking on Water: Reflections on Faith and Art by Madeleine L’Engle. Small Groups
This is a great time to join a Small Group! Small Groups have independent focuses (Bible study, book study, or special interests) and run ongoing from October through May. Register HERE.
Salem PreschoolÂ
As a ministry of Salem Covenant Church, the preschool’s goal is to Grow God’s Amazing Kids cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually so they can enter kindergarten with the skills, self-confidence, and love of learning that prepares them for a successful school career. God’s Children Sing
God’s Children Sing is a unique program for our youngest participants. Music, movement, and sensory motor exploration experiences are combined with faith stories that begin to nurture the spiritual being of this young age. Ages 0–5 (with attending adult)
