Are the upcoming mid-term elections on November 3 making you anxious? Let’s talk it through together in a guided conversation: a productive group dialogue where we bypass talking points to get at what we feel and think, and take time and space to express our deep emotions. We are not debating or trying to change minds. We want to identify what matters and say it aloud.

The Adult Christian Formation Team is hosting two election-focused guided conversations over shared meals on November 1 and 15. Register for one or both sessions HERE. Mama Mel (Melanie Davis), turns cookies into artwork! Join us as we learn her icing techniques and take home some fun and yummy treats. If you have ever wanted to learn how to use royal icing, this is the place to start! Cost is $12 per person (adults and youth Grade 6+ accompanied by an adult). The class is full and registration is now closed.

Join us once a month during the school year to prepare food for our hungry neighbors. We will serve at Every Meal in Roseville at 9 a.m.  on Tuesday, November 3; and at Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1. For Native American Heritage Month, LMDJ has arranged a guided tour at Hoċokata Ṫi, the Mdewakanton Dakota Cultural Center in Shakopee. Learn about the often-overlooked history of the Mdewankanton Dakota people through interactive displays and artifacts including arrowheads, tools, traditional clothing, a dugout canoe, and items on loan from the Smithsonian Institution. October is the Paul Carlson Partnership 2026 Biking for Congo Challenge.  The healthcare focus for this year is clean water for remote villages and rural health clinics in northwest DR Congo. The Salem Missions Team encourages everyone to contribute by cash donations, forming a team and/or fundraising. For more details click HERE.

This fall is a great time to join a Small Group! Groups are small gatherings of people who meet together to build relationships with God and each other and experience spiritual growth individually and in community. Small Groups have independent focuses (Bible study, book study, or special interests) and meet weekly to once a month. Register HERE.
