Good usable items (no large furniture or electronics, please) can be brought to the Gym beginning Sunday, October 14 after 12:30 p.m. through Tuesday, October 16 at 4:00 p.m. Bake sale items (packaged and labeled) may be brought Tuesday or through 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Proceeds from the sale will go to Manna Market operating out of Fridley Covenant Church. This all-volunteer organization sorts and gives food purchased from Second Harvest and donated by Cub and Target to 150 to 165 families each week. A light supper is also served to the recipients. This is our opportunity to not only raise money for such a worthy cause but to also help needy people who in past years were especially grateful for the items they were able to purchase for a small amount.
