“Capture the Chickens” Game Creates Connections, Camaraderie for Youth
The second annual Capture the Chickens game was a success! In partnership with Emmanuel Covenant Church, 80 middle school students, 20+ high school/young adult volunteers, and 15 adult leaders captured chickens and stole eggs. The game is similar to “Capture the Flag” where teams try to capture a rubber chicken from the opposing team’s designated area and bring it back to their base without getting hit by a nerf gun. The 8th graders were victorious, beating the 6th and 7th graders!
