Salem will be showing Season 4 of the Chosen, a biblically-based television series that tells the story of Jesus and his disciples.

Beginning Tuesday, April 2, and then on the following three Tuesdays in April, two episodes will be shown from
6:30 p.m.—8:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Sponsored by Salem’s The MomCo (formally MOPs), the free event will feature light refreshments. The public is welcome to attend this outreach event.

Season 4 focuses on the time leading up to Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem and includes the raising of Lazarus and the healing of the Roman centurion’s servant.

Season 4 Showing Schedule and Episode Synopsis 

April 2
Episode 1: PROMISES An intoxicating dance leads Herod to put an end to John the Baptizer, but no one can stop what—or Who—he’s ushered in.
Episode 2: CONFESSIONS Jesus founds his church on unholy ground and Simon goes public with Jesus’ true identity, getting a new name in the process. But can the new “Peter” forgive old wrongs?

April 9
Episode 3: MOON TO BLOOD When Jesus heals a blind man on the Sabbath, religious leaders confront him, drawing a riotous crowd. Gaius defies a direct order leading Quintus to take matters—and someone’s life—into his own hands.
Episode 4: CALM BEFORE Beginning with a funeral procession, time marches rapidly toward the final days of Jesus’ ministry. While the disciples seek status for themselves, a Roman ruler comes with a humble request.
