Welcome New Members!

We moved to Brooklyn Park from Owatonna, MN in the fall of 2020. We have been members of Christ Community Covenant Church in Owatonna since 1983 and actively engaged in church ministries.

Both of us are retired. Mark was formerly a psychologist and the Clinical Director at South Central Human Relations Center. Linda was formerly the Director of Human Resources at Owatonna Public Schools. Our family includes 2 adult children and their spouses and 8 grandchildren.

We are thankful to have found a new church family at Salem Covenant.

Besides being Lacey, and a follower of Christ, parenthood is my top priority. I have a lot of love to give, and am excited that I have another opportunity to do so. Lastly, I believe God’s hand can work anywhere, the possibilities are endless, little miracles happen all the time and beauty is everywhere. I hold on to that deep rooted knowledge in times of hardship and when things look dark. There will ALWAYS be light; we just have to believe God is there even in the darkness.

Michael and Andrea Zimmerman have been married since 2014 and reside in Lake Elmo. They own a music school together and teach private music lessons to students of all ages. Michael and Andrea have had the pleasure of being part of Salem’s Contemporary Music Ministry for over a decade. They enjoy traveling the world as much as possible!

I am a registered nurse at the Children’s Minneapolis pediatric emergency department. I moved here in December to be part of a community and church family after traveling for the last year. I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia for most of my life.

I have two boys, ages 11 and 13. We have been attending Salem for 9 years and I am blessed to serve as the Thrive Director of our disability ministry here.

Matt, Terri, and their five kids live in Ham Lake, MN. They have been attending Salem for the last year.

Pam enjoys volunteering with Salem’s Children and Family Ministries. Roger works part-time on the Salem Facilities staff. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.

We are Darin and Kate! We love Jesus and seek to raise our two boys to know and love him. We enjoy laughing with our kids, getting outside, sitting down with a good book, and time with friends and family.

Bob grew up in Minnesota and Elaine in Wisconsin. They have two children and a grandson. Elaine worked in the banking world for over thirty years and Bob was an educator who taught in Alaska, Albert Lea, and Roseville as a social studies teacher. They are looking forward to being members at Salem Covenant Church!

Hi, I’m Hannah Zdrazil. I have been attending Salem for over 20 years. I work as a nurse in the emergency department at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, spending time with friends, and playing with my cat.

I recently moved back to MN from South Carolina to be closer to my 2 sons and their families. I am so glad I found Salem as I have met so many wonderful people already and I look forward to meeting many more as I participate in more activities here. I love the worship music and the children’s chat. I also appreciate Pastor Mark’s sermons. What I am saying is that I love Salem!
