Get your kids ready to experience the BRIGHTEST week of their summer!

This year at VBS, we’ll be shining a light on who Jesus really is. While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are still in the dark about who He truly is. During Illumination Station VBS, kids will explore how light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals. Rooted in John 8:12, each day children will discover the true nature of Jesus as the Light of the World—the promised, perfect, powerful, and proven Son of God.

Survivor Camp

A Youth Pursuits opportunity for students entering kindergarten-5th grade
June 15-18 (M-H), 12:00 pm-3:00 pm
Cost: $75

This summer, kids won’t just survive—they’ll learn how to thrive! Survivor Camp is an action-packed, faith-filled experience inspired by the excitement of the Survivor TV show, with an important twist: while the world tells us to rely on our own strength to get through life, the Bible reminds us that true strength, hope, and purpose are found in Jesus Christ.

Sewing Camp-Beginner

A Youth Pursuits opportunity for students ages 9-17
June 22-24 (M-W), 9:00-11:45 am
Cost: $50

Learn how to use the sewing machine, a skill with endless practical and creative uses! Each day we will have a new project to work on and time to experiment with the machine and fabric. Geared to beginners.

Sewing Camp-Intermediate

A Youth Pursuits opportunity for students ages 9-17
August 10-12 (M-W), 9:00-11:45 am
Cost: $50

This intermediate sewing camp is designed for youth who already have some sewing machine experience. Campers should be able to use a sewing machine, thread it, and have already made basic projects before camp. We will build on those skills to sew elastic waist “Pajama pants”. Campers will learn how to use a sewing pattern from start to finish while creating elastic-waist pants.

Pet and Play Camp: Where Animals and Action Meet!

A Youth Pursuits opportunity for students entering kindergarten-5th grade
July 27-30 (M-H), 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Cost: $150

Pet & Play Camp is the perfect place for kids who love to move and have a heart for animals! This high-energy camp combines fun, age-appropriate sports and games with hands-on animal experiences that teach kindness, responsibility, and teamwork. Each day, campers will jump into active play—running, throwing, kicking, and competing in creative games—while also learning about animals through interactive activities, stories, and supervised animal encounters. From learning how to care for pets to discovering how animals communicate and trust, kids will see how patience, compassion, and teamwork matter both on the field and with furry friends.

StepUp! Leadership Program

A Youth Pursuits opportunity designed for students entering 6th- 12th grade
Cost: $75

Youth Pursuits’ StepUp! Youth Leadership Program is designed for students entering grades 6-12 to provide opportunity for students to live out their faith through teaching, mentoring, and leadership. Students will be empowered and equipped to assist Salem staff and interns with Youth Pursuits Camps throughout the summer.
