Sunday Mornings
Our Sunday morning services feature a special time of worship and fellowship, enhanced by music from the organ, choirs, handbell ensemble, wind ensemble, and our contemporary worship team. Between services, our Sunday School hour offers meaningful Christian education for all ages, with a variety of options for adults. While Sundays are a highlight, they are just one part of the rich life we share together at Salem.
Throughout the week and various seasons, our building, ministries and mission endeavors overflow with life.
- Our lower-level welcomes preschoolers Monday through Friday, where dedicated teachers provide a nurturing and loving environment.
- On Monday evenings, Fellowship Hall fills for Bible Study Fellowship, alongside many smaller Bible studies and groups meeting throughout the week.
- Wednesday nights are especially vibrant, beginning with a shared meal prepared by faithful volunteers, followed by AWANA, youth programs, and rehearsals for our many music ministries.
- Friday mornings offer fellowship for mothers through MomCo, while Journeys and Friday Fellowship create meaningful connections for older adults.
- “Sunday Nights at Salem” launched this past fall and has been warmly embraced. These gatherings have brought people together for worship, prayer, fellowship, and fun ranging from small groups and game nights to pickleball, crafts, and more.
- Recently, many connected through Lenten Life Groups across various locations.
- Summer brings its own energy, with Vacation Bible School and Youth Pursuits filling our space with children, youth, and volunteers.
- Volunteers prepare and serve meals through Loaves and Fishes and regularly serve with Manna Market, Feed My Starving Children and Every Meal.
- Mission teams have served in Alaska, the Czech Republic, and at Joni and Friends retreats. This coming summer, youth and young adults will travel to serve in Mexico and Panama.
