FOUNDATION FOR THE FUTURE
Ensuring our home base continues to equip disciples of Jesus Christ for generations to come.
Our History
Since 1971, our facility has been a daily hub for ministry and a home base for equipping disciples.
While we are grateful for decades of generous stewardship, our 55-year-old infrastructure has reached a natural turning point.
Now is the time to renew our space for the next generation of ministry.
Facility Infrastructure
- The roof and exterior elements, including windows, are aging and in need of replacement
- After nearly 50 years, the parking lot shows significant wear, including cracking and settling
Essential Building Systems
- The HVAC system is no longer sustainable, with outdated components and unavailable refrigerant
- The elevator controller will not meet new state regulations
- The commercial dishwasher is nearing the end of its useful life, with replacement parts no longer available
- The office suite requires improved security
Worship
- The organ cannot be tuned correctly and is leaning forward
- Lighting and camera systems, assembled during the pandemic now need updating and integration to better serve both in-person and online worship
Challenge Goal $3.4 Million Dollars
Three Great Ways to Give
Please prayerfully consider your part in the capital campaign.
Make a Pledge Over Three Years
This is the way most people are able to make a significant donation. Even modest amounts become significant when given monthly or with each paycheck over three years. All gifts are given over and above your regular giving. Pledges can be paid annually, semiannually, quarterly, monthly, or with each paycheck.
Non-cash Gift
This might be gifts of stock or mutual funds, gifts directly from an IRA, land or property, valuable possessions such as jewelry, automobiles and antiques, or even in-kind gifts such as supplies and labor. The ownership of these gifts will be transferred to Salem.
Make a Legacy Gift through a Charitable Bequest in your Will or Living Trust
You can leave a legacy that will continue for years to come. This thoughtful act, which has little or no current financial impact on you, may result in the largest and most lasting one time gift you will ever make to Salem.
